Meet our Board

Dr. Abiodun Fatade (MBBS, FMCR)

Board Chairman,

MD/CEO, Crestview Radiology Ltd

Dr. Abiodun Oluwole Fatade (MBBS, FMCR) is a Consultant Radiologist and healthcare entrepreneur. He received his medical degree from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, followed by residency training in Radiology at University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan. He completed further advanced training in medical imaging and healthcare management in Canada. Dr. Fatade is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Crestview Radiology Limited, one of Nigeria’s leading radiodiagnostic centers. He also serves as a Non-Executive Director on the board of First HoldCo Plc.

With over three decades of experience in diagnostic imaging, Dr. Fatade is a Fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria and a member of several international professional bodies, including the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), the American College of Radiologists, and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. He also serves on RSNA’s Committee for Africa and Asia. Dr. Fatade is deeply committed to strengthening radiology practice in West Africa and has held key leadership roles, including Chairman of the Lagos Chapter of the Association of Radiologists in Nigeria and Secretary of the Association of Radiologists of West Africa. He continues to advocate for improved access to high-quality diagnostic services and is a strong proponent of public-private partnerships in healthcare.

Mrs. Mojisola Animashaun

MD/CEO OAK Cancer Specialist Hospitals

Mrs. Mojisola Animashaun is a Radiation Therapist and healthcare advocate with extensive clinical experience in oncology. She received her foundational training in Radiation Therapy at the Newcastle Schools of Radiography in the United Kingdom. She later earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix, USA, and is certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). She began her clinical career at St. Thomas’ Hospital in London before returning to Nigeria, where she completed her national service at Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH).

She went on to serve as Deputy Director and Administrator of the Oncology Unit at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), overseeing cancer care services and patient coordination.

Mrs. Animashaun is also the Founder and MD/CEO of OAK Cancer Specialist Hospitals, a modern oncology facility expanding her mission into full-scale cancer care delivery. She serves on the Council of the Association of Radiation Therapists of Nigeria and has held key leadership positions, including roles with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria and the Lagos State Chapter of ARN.

Ifeoluwa Amure

Chief Operating Officer

Ms. Ifeoluwa Amure is a public health strategist and patient-centered care advocate with a strong track record in cancer prevention programming, nonprofit leadership, and community health engagement.  A graduate of Oduduwa University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, Ms. Amure has built her career at the intersection of public health and social impact.

 

She has overseen some of the Foundation’s most impactful campaigns which focuses on breaking financial and informational barriers to early diagnosis and care. Her commitment to inclusion has led to innovative projects that integrate accessible cancer education for people with disabilities, including initiatives using sign language and braille. Ms. Amure is recognized for her strategic leadership, operational excellence, and advocacy for equitable health systems. Her work continues to shape how cancer support services are delivered in Nigeria.

Dr. Maruf Adewole

Executive Director, MD/CEO 

Medical Artificial Intelligence Lab (MAI Lab)

Dr. Maruf Adewole, PhD, is a Medical Physicist and Radiation Safety Advisor focused on leveraging artificial intelligence to improve cancer diagnosis and care across Africa. He completed his doctorate in Medical Physics and currently serves as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Global Health.

He is the Executive Director of the Medical Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (MAI Lab) in Lagos, where he leads efforts to develop AI-driven tools tailored to resource-limited settings. His work centers on medical imaging innovation, including global health projects like BraTS-Africa, ABreast, and SPARK Academy, which aim to democratize AI, support capacity building, and promote open science in Africa.  Dr. Adewole spearheaded the Brain Tumor Segmentation (BraTS)–Africa Challenge, creating one of the first MRI datasets of brain tumors from Sub‑Saharan African populations.

 

This initiative was recognized with the International Prize for Open Science from the Montreal Neurological Institute & the Irv‑Helga Cooper Foundation, highlighting its global impact.  Dr. Adewole is an active member of professional bodies, including the Nigerian Association of Medical Physicists, International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM), American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM), and is a licensed Radiation Safety Consultant with the Nigerian Nuclear Regulatory Authority.
